Functional Capacity Evaluations

Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE) of 1 - 2 day duration resulting in a highly defensible report. A Matheson trained evaluator who is also an Occupational Therapist carries out a variety of standardized assessments that will answer the following questions:

1. What are the client's functional tolerances?
2. Is the client capable of returning to his or her pre-accident employment?
3. What are the client's functional abilities for activities of daily living including personal care, homemaking, transportation, yard and home maintenance, child care and leisure?
4. What are the client's functional abilities with respect to employment or education?
5. Effort and reliability of findings?
